World Dance Day under the motto “Sport Against Child Aggression”

More than 500 dancers from all over the country took part in the National DanceSport Competition. Under the motto “Sport Against Child Aggression”, the National Individual and Team DanceSport Championship was held in Asenovgrad. The contest was organised by the Bulgarian DanceSport Federation, Asenovgrad Municipality and DSC “Asenovets” - Asenovgrad. It was held on the occasion of World Dance Day and lasted more than 15 hours. The “Rising Stars” tournament featured 70 dance couples and 135 girls dancing solo. The DanceSport Club “Asenovets” was represented by 6 couples in the different age groups and classes. The dances performed by the participants belonged to the DanceSport group - ballroom, standard, Latin American and character dances - synchronised dancing, street dance and contemporary dance.
