“With Kids on the Hill 2019” drew more than 2,400 visitors to one of Plovdiv’s favourite hills

On 1 June 2019, for the second year running, Bunardzhika Park brought young and old together at the children’s festival “With Kids on the Hill”. This year the number of visitors exceeded 2,400, and there were more than 20 fun activities, attractions and corners, stretching along the whole central avenue of Bunardzhika and the small paths around the Vasil Levski monument. The artistic programme on the main stage next to the Summer Theatre included: an Aikido session with coach Luciana Yamada, a clown from Circus Balkanski, the modern dance group “Nancy Dance” with choreographer Yana Dimitrova, the school “Yane Sandanski” with choreographer Simona Simeonova, the ballet Electra Junior, and the bagpipe ensemble “Rodopchani”. For healthy hydration on the warm day, “Nova Trade” gave Bachkovo spring water from its children’s line to all the little ones. The cheerful mood of the celebration was complemented by the new children’s design of the bottle, with its pretty coloured caps and fun labels.
