The new culinary city fest “Taste of Plovdiv” Christmas 2017 with the support of Bachkovo spring water

The first edition of the newest culinary show - the “Taste of Plovdiv” Christmas 2017 festival - took place on 8 and 9 December 2017 in a Plovdiv shopping mall. It was organised by the Trakia Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers - Plovdiv and the Regional Chamber of Crafts - Plovdiv, in partnership with Plovdiv Municipality, the Tourism municipal enterprise - Plovdiv, the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association (BHRA), the LocalFood.bg Foundation and the Association of Professional Chefs - Plovdiv. During the two days, from 2 pm to 7 pm, prominent Plovdiv restaurants and producers of local food and drink showed off their cuisine and products away from their own premises, and chefs from Plovdiv promoted their dishes before the eyes of visitors, who tried the different tastes of Plovdiv’s establishments and producers, united by one common concept. This year’s guest presenter is Ivan Zvezdev, which gave rise to the event’s sub-brand “Ivan Zvezdev and the Star Restaurants of Plovdiv”. The programme also included many entertaining games for the audience and Christmas surprises. All of this took place against a backdrop of themed chamber performances by the wonderful girls of the Classic View quartet - Plovdiv.
