National campaign “Mission Sport of Favourite Heroes” motivates children to play sport

Kavarna became part of the national campaign “Mission Sport of Favourite Heroes”

Hundreds of children from Kavarna, parents, coaches and professional athletes gathered today in Kavarna’s city park to exercise together with their favourite cartoon characters.

The town became part of the campaign “Mission Sport of Favourite Heroes” of the association “Touch the Rainbow” Association and the association “Pazardzhik Does Sport”, represented by “Golden Girl” Reneta Kamberova and Dr Denislava Angelova. They urged the children to do sport because sport means health and teaches discipline and perseverance, and because successes, as in life, are achieved through hard work.

The mayor of Kavarna Municipality, Nina Stavreva, wished all the participants in the initiative a heartfelt good time, and the organisers success in the campaign and in their mission to draw as many children as possible into the sports halls, so that one day they will delight us with their achievements. All the children received T-shirts with the name of Kavarna Municipality’s sports campaign “Being Sporty Is Fashionable” and the logo of the mission. The little ones had the chance to try eight sports disciplines, including rhythmic gymnastics, in which Reneta Kamberova gave a demonstration with ribbon and clubs.
