International Tourism Meeting in Plovdiv

Bachkovo spring water supported the holding of the 9th International Tourism Meeting. The city of Plovdiv hosted the event, which took place between 4 and 7 October. Foreign and Bulgarian tour operators and media from a total of 16 countries took part in the official opening. The annual tourism meeting is a proven strong distribution channel for the Plovdiv destination and the region. Over its 9 years, the forum has become a sustainable and flexible way of promoting the tourism product of the city and the region and a means of making profitable business contacts. The event presented the cultural and historical heritage and the infrastructure improvements of Plovdiv - the oldest living city in Europe. The organisers offered guests a programme including presentations of the city’s historical and archaeological sights, together with the natural riches and sports and leisure attractions in the area of the Rowing Canal (Grebna Baza).
