International Tourism Meeting 2018

The tenth anniversary international tourism meeting was held from 21 to 24 November 2018 in ancient yet ever-lively and dynamically developing Plovdiv. The annual international tourism meeting was opened by minister Nikolina Angelkova. To date, more than 650 tour operators and journalists have taken part. Over its 10 years the forum has become a sustainable and mobile way of promoting the tourism product of the city and the region and a means of making profitable business contacts. An important focus of the programme of the international meetings is the presentation of the newest tourist sites, attractions and infrastructure improvements in Plovdiv. Another priority is for the participants - foreign and Bulgarian tour operators and media, representatives of local government and the tourism sector in the region - to have the opportunity, through B2B working meetings, to get acquainted and make personal contacts, exchange experience and lay the foundations of future joint activity.
